Why the discounts are real
A crossed-out price only means something if people actually pay it. Ours is the rate for working month to month with no term, and it is open to every client at any time. That matters legally as well as ethically: the FTC's pricing guides say a former price comparison is fair when that price was really offered to the public on a regular basis, and misleading when it was set only to make a discount look bigger.
The discount grows with the term because longer engagements are cheaper to run. We spend less time on onboarding, and we can plan releases months ahead instead of week to week. Terms also match how long each kind of site takes to show results, from weeks for a stage name to several release cycles for a platform.
